Tehran cinemas to host 10th Int’l animation festival

The 10th Tehran International Animation Festival (TIAF) is scheduled to kick off in Tehran on Sunday.

The event is scheduled to run for five days starting March 5, 2017 in various cinemas and cultural centers in the capital, Tehran, as well as provincial cinemas.

Held by the Institute for Intellectual Development of Children & Young Adults, many award-winning animations will participate at the biennial festival.

The Tehran Animation Festival is a competitive event which takes place biennially. The main goal is to promote animation and broaden cultural interchange.

TIAF is not specified just for children and young adults, but any kind of artistic animated films, including those for children, young adults and adults section, can be sent to the festival.
